A review of the past year and a New Year's gift for players.

❄ The year 2023 is coming to an end. What was memorable for players and developers of War Thunder Mobile? Let's remember the most significant events over the past year:

On May 4th, the open beta test started in War Thunder Mobile for Android version;
On June 21st, the 1st major update called "Symphony of Fire" was released: the location for tank battles — Japan, 2 new platoons and 2 ships were added to the game, new planes appeared in tank battles, the decoration and title features were added;
August 2nd, in the 2nd major update "Warzone Alliance" in the game there are new land and sea vehicles, sea location Lofoten Islands, arsenal for upgrading and customization of vehicles, as well as the ability to add friends and play as a platoon;
On August 15th, the War Thunder Mobile game was officially released worldwide — on iOS and Android devices;
August 21st — the "eternal" cross-promo campaign started — the opportunity to link WTM and WT accounts via Gaijin-account and get gifts in both games;
September 18th — release date of the 3rd major update "Sands of Liberty", after which the game got 5 new platoons (including legendary "leopards"), 7 new ships, 3 subs, locations American Desert and Ship Graveyard, as well as major bug fixing and optimization;
On October 19th, another major update was released — "Viking Armor", which pleased players with the first long-term event (among the rewards of which was the invincible Maus), new vehicles, the appearance of Battle Rewards and interface updates;
On October 27th, for the first time in the game, players were able to compete for places and rewards in the leaderboards in test mode;
On October 31st, players instead of the usual hangars got into the night mystical interface and were able to participate in the thematic event;
On November 15th, the major update "Jungle Strike" pleased commanders with a new tank location Vietnam Hills, the first Chinese platoon, new vehicles including the unbeatable IJN Yamato, as well as new achievement features and a second long-term event, the same day "star levels" of vehicles were launched and a profile view was announced;
On December 6th, the textures of ground vehicles were updated, making them much more realistic and detailed; in the same minor update, some maps were fixed, sound was updated, tracked vehicles were better controlled, and the post-combat statistics window became more informative;
On December 14th, the 6th major update "Big Guns" was released — the game got the long-awaited Battle Pass in addition to the next season, according to the players' requests the rewards in Trophies were divided by campaigns, the magnificent sea location White Rocks, 4 new platoons, 3 ships and 1 unique sub appeared, leaderboards were launched and numerous interface changes took place;
On December 20th, the Winter Battles event started, which will last until mid-January 2024 and will bring commanders directly into snowy hangars with vehicles in themed camouflage and a great holiday mood!
