Minor update 1.4.1.10

New texture quality for ground vehicles, improved balance in for ground and naval vehicles, updated sounds and bug fixes.

Graphics improvement

The texture quality of ground vehicles has been improved even more! Glints and scuffs, tiny rivets and seams on vehicles are now shown more clearly and realistically.

Ships

  • HMS Brissenden — main caliber reload time reduced to 2.4 sec. The minimum number of crew has increased by 20%.
  • Svetlyy — gun reload time reduced to 2.6 sec. Minimum number of crew increased by 10%.
  • USS Des Moines — a bug that caused the forward and aft auxiliary caliber guns to fail to fire on course has been fixed.
  • IJN Yamato — main caliber gun reload time increased to 20 sec.
  • The surface speed for all submarines has been increased and is now 1.5 times their speed at periscope depth. The periscope speed of submarines remains unchanged.
  • A bug that caused damaged ship guns to not show up in the HUD on the fire buttons has been fixed.
  • Ship cards now take into account the location of the guns on the sides of the ships for the damage per second indicator.

Ground vehicles

  • A 30° zone has been added for tracked vehicles to turn on the spot in the direction of stick deflection.
  • A bug that caused tracked vehicles to make a brief turn in the opposite direction from the selected direction when turning on the spot has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused tracked vehicles to turn in the opposite direction from the selected turn direction when making a steep turn has been fixed.

Tank locations

A number of balance and visual edits have been made to the American Desert and Stalingrad maps:

  • The respawn points of the vehicles are now facing a more comfortable direction depending on the capture points in the mission.

American Desert:

  • the respawn point defense in the West and South-West has been strengthened;
  • cover near the railway station between the desert part and the city has been added;

Stalingrad:

  • several cover areas in the center of the location have been added;
  • the Southern capture point has become more enclosed;
  • cover areas on the Northern Junction between the buildings have been added.

Vietnam:

  • a bug that caused palm trees to hang in the air has been fixed.
  • an incorrect display of water at the junction with the ground has been fixed.
  • an incorrect display of units on the location mini-map has been fixed.

Sound

  • Sounds of explosions, firing machine guns, and cannons have been corrected to reduce sound sharpness. Also added more low frequencies to them.
  • Machine guns of ground vehicles now sound quieter.
  • The volume of the sounds at the beginning of an artillery strike has been reduced.
  • The sounds of ground vehicles' engines have been adjusted in volume and clarity, and more low frequencies have been added to the throttle sounds.
  • The volume of the engine and tracks of the player's ground vehicles has been reduced.

Match Awards

  • The following changes to naval Match awards have been made:
  • The "Terror of the Seas" and "Terror of the Oceans" match awards are now given for disabling a percentage of enemy crews.
  • New match awards are added: Large Caliber, Torpedo Master, Lust for Life, Disarming, Loss of Control, Bomber, Marine Sniper, Air Reconnaissance.

Bug fixes

  • Torpedoes fired are now displayed as they should be — underwater.
  • A bug that caused some images of APHE shells to be substituted for pictures of ATGMs in the shell selection menu has been fixed.

Other

  • The post-fight statistics window has been improved.
