Rocky Canyon

The Rocky Canyon location for air battles was created based on the landscapes of the famous Grand Canyon in the United States and Charyn Canyon in Kazakhstan. A distinctive feature of these two natural monuments is their extensive attitudinal zonality.

The mountain river in the center of the map is located at the very bottom of the canyon and is surrounded by sandstone cliffs that rise several levels up and turn into a wide plateau. The highlight of the map is a long bridge with barely visible and therefore very dangerous cables. A skilled pilot will definitely use this obstacle to break away from a persistent enemy.

“Rocky Canyon” is a location with steep elevation changes. Ground targets – bases, bunkers, armored vehicles, and an airfield – are located at different levels, including on the tops of plateaus. Keep in mind that aircraft often lose speed when climbing quickly. Pilots will need route planning skills to avoid reaching the enemy base on the plateau as an easy target!

The difference in heights and complex terrain allow you to sneak up on your enemies and easily escape their attacks. Narrow, tall spires, towers, and arches allow you to maneuver close to the ground, then suddenly leap into the abyss and rise up, appearing behind your enemies.

"Rocky Canyon" is a bright, spacious airplane location with maximum altitude differences, obstacles invisible in the heat of battle, and plenty of opportunities to implement interesting combat tactics!
