Ships:
The ship mode development team regularly takes a look at feedaback from captains, collects information about bugs and problems, analyzes stats, and works to improve balance. Today’s update rebalances Ranks IV and V, as well as the addition of Rank VI to improve balance and matchmaking:

The top artillery ships (USS Iowa, Bismarck, HMS Vanguard, Type XXI, Sovetskij Soyuz, and IJN Yamato) have been moved to Rank V. They will no longer be encountered in battles with Rank III.

All missile ships have been moved to Rank VI and will no longer be encountered in Rank IV battles. Campaign levels and the amount of Silver Lions/Golden Eagles for unlocking these moved ships have not changed.
Silver Lion prices have been revised for several artillery ships and all missile ships:

Other ship mode changes:

Depth charges – the detonation radius has been increased by 30%. The explosion radius has been increased by 50%. The explosion damage has been increased by 85%.

USS Tang – the minimum crew number has been doubled (the submarine’s survivability has been reduced).

HMS Vanguard – the reload time of the auxiliary caliber guns has been reduced from 3 to 2.5 seconds. The minimum crew number has been increased by ~3%.

Bismarck – the base reload time of the main caliber guns has been reduced from 13 to 12 seconds. The minimum crew number has been increased by ~2%.
-
Gnevnyy – the explosive mass in the 57 mm ammunition has been increased by ~60%. Damage of main caliber and air defense guns will increase.

JDS Takatsuki – maximum speed has been reduced by ~20%.

Kronshtadt – the reload time of the main caliber guns has been reduced from 12.5 to 10.5 seconds. The minimum crew number has been increased by ~4.5%. Ship physics and the pointing angles of the main caliber guns have been redesigned. Now the ship will no longer tilt as much, and when maneuvering it will be easier to hit a target with the main caliber guns.

IJN Mutsu – the height of the smoke screen has been increased so that it is impossible to aim at the ship’s mast through the smoke.

Surcouf – the visual model has been improved, the transition between levels of detail has become smoother.

USS Pensacola – the visual model has been improved, a problem with the main caliber turrets hanging in the air has been fixed, the transition between detail levels has become smoother.

Admiral Graf Spee – a bug that caused the engine to not display in X-Ray mode has been fixed.

A bug that caused the air defense system on submarines to fire from underwater and in periscope mode has been fixed.

A bug that caused the main caliber guns on the “Gnevnyy” destroyer to incorrectly reload when firing has been fixed.
Aircraft

The functionality of auxiliary control of aircraft with the help of gyroscope has been added. It is not a separate mode of gyroscope control, but the option to turn the aircraft in flight, perform barrel rolls, etc.

The indication of damaged elements of aircraft structures has been added as separate icons.

The identical shells in aircraft have been combined into one slot in the vehicle selection window.

A bug that caused the radar marker in air mode to display the enemy as alive when they were killed has been fixed.

A notification when an enemy ground base is destroyed has been added.
-
The arrow pointing to the selected target in air battles is now animated.

The critical speed hint when landing an aircraft on the airfield is now displayed correctly.

Overall, more than 100 vehicle models have been reoptimized this year.
We’ve found and fixed a whole list of bugs in the vehicle models by reviewing your feedback on the website and the official Discord server of the game. Here’s just a small list of what has been fixed recently thanks to you:

The Pz.Bef.Wg.VI P had its turret floating in the air;

The Jagdpanzer IV had track “fingers” on the hull in the hangar at high graphics settings;
-
The IS-6’s tracks had large visible holes in battle at low graphics settings;
-
The Object 906’s onboard armament moved with the turret when the turret was rotated in X-ray mode;
-
At low graphics settings, the Chieftain Mk.10 had angular rollers, and the T-10M had the same problems with its headlights;
-
The ZT3A2 had its machine gun firing above the sight;
-
The Chieftain Mk.10 lacked vertical guidance angles for the commander’s machine gun;
-
The BMP-1 lacked a small hatch.
