[Coming Soon] Winter Battles!

Announcement of the season event and rewards "Winter 2023-24".

Snow is crunching under the tracks, and the first icebergs were seen near the Pacific Islands according to eyewitness accounts. Winter has finally arrived in War Thunder Mobile! And there’s no winter without holidays, fireworks and gifts? Very soon commanders and captains will enjoy an exciting seasonal event:

  • Snow-covered holiday hangars for great cheer.
  • Five seasonal tasks with five stages each:
    • Destroy enemy vehicles in any mode;
    • Capture a control point in tank battles;
    • Take off for air combat in any mode;
    • Win the battle in any mode;
    • Take first place in the team in any mode.

  • New thematic mechanics — fireworks with unique battle rewards.
  • Holiday Trophies (divided by campaign) with festive decorations, holiday avatars and unique camouflages.
  • The ultimate holiday gifts for fellow players.

The main prizes of the event are vehicles in luxurious themed camouflages! Each unit of the holiday premium platoon IS-1 (Rank IV) has already proven itself in battles and will be able to show exceptional results at its rank, and the new premium submarine Surcouf (Rank II) will become a "predatory shark" in the hands of a skillful captain!

Here’s what testers had to say
about the event vehicles:

Wow, this is the coolest sub in the game! It can fire 4 torpedoes from the front and 6 from the side! And the turret with 2 203mm cannons is absolutely OP. The Type K's 100mm cannons break the bridge, but the Surcof will annihilate it.
The Sherman from the premium KV-220 platoon is a good machine with good CD. The SU-122P penetrates almost everything on its rank. The AA takes out ground vehicles, it’s very mobile, too. And the camouflage is good, it looks festive without being an eyesore.

The vehicles with this camouflage will become a real gem in your hangar. And in the future, commanders who have received the collectible vehicles will be able to proudly show it in their own Hall of Fame.

Stay tuned for more information about the start of the winter festivities!
