Two premium Soviet platoons with excellent combat characteristics will leave their opponents with no chance: the Object 120 doesn’t count on distance when selecting a target, and the T-34-57 can penetrate any armor!
This experimental tank destroyer is under the factory designation Object 120, and at the time of its creation could destroy or disable any tank in the world at any actual battle distance. The main difference of this amazing vehicle is a long, incredibly accurate and powerful 152 mm gun that can fire an unsurpassed APFSDS round. Your opponent’s turret will literally be blown off by a successful hit!
The T-54 medium tank is a true classic of Soviet post-war armored vehicles. This vehicle combines the core three characteristics of a successful tank: firepower, protection and mobility. An excellent versatile tank that will be equally good in both defense and breakthrough!
The IS-4M is considered to be one of the best classic heavy tanks in the game. This is because it’s well protected, armed with a good 122 mm gun and demonstrates good mobility for its considerable combat weight. The IS-4M is always the right choice for battles in urban areas, but remember the long reload time of the gun, so stay close to your teammates!
The legendary ZSU-23-4 has long been the benchmark for short-range air defense. Four barrels with a combined rate of fire of 3400 rounds per minute and powered by a single belt work like a whip of fire, tearing apart any aerial target with a few hits. With some skill, the ZSU-23-4 will show itself well against armored vehicles, but might not go down well against heavy tanks and self-propelled vehicles!
In 1941, an experimental batch of T-34 tanks were re-equipped with 57 mm ZiS-4 anti-tank guns, which had much better armor-piercing characteristics than the standard 76 mm guns. The T-34-57 is widely regarded as one of the best tanks with great penetration capability among medium tanks of its level. For most opponents, it will be reasonable to use the APHE shells, but for the most defensive opponents the APHEBC shell will be useful!
A special variant of the KV-1 heavy tank with additional armored add-ons. Thanks to this, this legendary Soviet tank has become even more survivable against enemy fire. Indeed, in some areas the total value of armor thickness now reaches 100 mm! Due to the gun not being the strongest, this tank may be difficult to cope with against well-armored enemies, but the KV-1E itself can withstand a huge number of hits at the same time.
The SU-100Y is an experimental Soviet heavy self-propelled tank with a ship-based (!) 130 mm gun. There’s no enemy that can resist the fire of this monster, although not the best protection and the large size of SU-100Y will require your active maneuvering between cover and a good understanding of the picture of the battle.
Since 1951, the BTR-152 was improved with a ZTPU-4 anti-aircraft gun with large-caliber 14.5 mm machine guns and 2,000 rounds of ammunition. The result was a more powerful BTR-152D vehicle with increased fire density — an excellent solution against low-flying aircraft!
