Historical note

In the late 70s, after experiments with various hull and turret designs and tests with different guns, the Leopard 2AV model emerged. It went for comparative tests against future M1 Abrams prototypes. After successful tests, the mass production of Leopard 2 tanks started in 1977.

Early versions of the Leopard 2 had almost no external differences, but their internal systems were constantly modernized. In 1985, the Leopard 2A4 version was introduced, with earlier tanks also improved to this standard.

With a high level of battle characteristics, the Leopard 2A4 will be one of the best tanks in the game and will surely gain fans.

Pressure and power are the Leopard's elements. Brilliant mobility and a powerful 120 mm gun with an excellent reload speed make the tank an exceptionally good choice for aggressive combat with fast capture of key positions.

The commander's choice of two APFSDS and a HEATFS shell will be available to quickly destroy lightly armored targets.

The Leopard 2 is significantly more protected than the first generation of tanks, especially at the front area of the turret, but the hull and turret sides are still very vulnerable. It is worth noting the mechanics of the blowout panels, which can prevent critical damage from the explosion of the turret ammunition.
