Platoon M60 AMBT (Rank IX)

Historical Note

The Turkish company StandartBio proposed a large-scale modernization program for outdated M60 tanks. The program was called the Affordable Main Battle Tank (AMBT) and was aimed to increase combat effectiveness of M60 tanks to a level roughly equivalent to modern main battle tanks.

M60 AMBT

Almost all combat characteristics of the tank were qualitatively improved – the M60 AMBT received a new 120 mm gun, a new more powerful engine, additional armor, electric turret drive, new FCS and even a 25 mm LW25 grenade launcher in the commander's turret.

The M60 AMBT is well protected against HEAT shells, but doesn't hold up well against kinetic shells.

The main advantages of the tank are an excellent cannon with the most modern shells in the game and good mobility. Shoot first, that's the secret of success on the M60 AMBT!

XM8

The XM8 experimental light tank is the perfect raider! It has excellent power-to-weight ratio, is easy to climb and maintains high off-road mobility. The 105mm cannon has an excellent rate of fire, and the effective APFSDS penetrate most tanks in the game.

M3A3 Bradley

One of the modern versions of the American army's workhorse, the M3 Bradley IFV. The vehicle received a set of mounted armor, and the automatic 25mm cannon is complemented by a TOW-2B ATGM launcher!

M247

The M247 Sergeant York is a very special DIVAD. It doesn't set any records in rate of fire or top speed, but its HE-VT shells leave little chance for any aircraft, and the armor-piercing belts for its two 40mm autocannons and tank chassis make the M247 a full-fledged tank support vehicle!

IJN Amagi (Rank V)

IJN Amagi became the lead ship in a series of new Imperial Japanese Navy battlecruisers with 410 mm main guns and heavy armor.

This elegantly designed ship is characterized by exceptional combat capabilities. The ten 410 mm guns give a very high firepower, virtually like that of a battleship.

Some areas of the cruiser are almost as defensible as battleships, with the IJN Amagi retaining great maneuverability!

For close combat, the IJN Amagi is armed with powerful 610-mm torpedoes. And the scout enemy planes are countered by a pretty good air defense system.

Ta 154 A-1 (Rank V)

The German Ta 154 A-1 night heavy fighter was designed to repel raids by British heavy bombers.

The warplane got a twin-engine design and forward-firing weapons of two 20-mm and two 30-mm automatic cannons.

This amazingly fast and quite maneuverable aircraft will not only easily destroy even the heaviest enemy “bomber”, but also can compete in air combat with some fighters!
