Answers to frequently asked questions about the new tank “meta”.
Dear Commanders! We have noticed a number of questions on social media related to yesterday’s update and have prepared some answers for you. Please read them carefully!
Please open the Legacy branch – it’s the very last tab, located below the USSR tech tree. Vehicles that have not yet been moved to national tech trees, or vehicles where a national tree for them doesn’t yet exist, are temporarily located there.
Some vehicles, even common, that players didn’t obtain/purchase before the transition to “Tanks 2.0” have been hidden until the corresponding national tech trees appear. If you had purchased such a vehicle before the changes, it is located in the Legacy branch.
This is a bug, and we are already working on a solution. Experience multipliers will increase depending on the vehicle’s rank.
This is a bug, and we are already working on a solution. The indicator shows that there have been changes to some not-yet-purchased vehicles (in the tech trees and blueprints) in the Arsenal. There is no external indicator on the vehicles themselves; it only appears when viewing them in the Arsenal.
The vehicles in the Legacy tab are there temporarily. They are arranged by rank, but randomly without considering the power of each unique vehicle. We are working on moving and implementing a more convenient sorting system for the vehicles in this tab.
After the transition to “Tanks 2.0”, we moved away from improving the crew on each unique tank. The game now features Slots, which are managed by separate crews. When you improve the crew’s skills in each slot, the parameters of the tanks you assign to those slots are automatically enhanced. You receive a certain amount of “free experience” points based on the training level of all your platoons and the ability to distribute this experience among the slots. Please open the Crew tab in each slot, review the available upgrades, and improve the parameters you need, for example fire rate, turret traverse speed, accuracy, crew swap speed. These characteristics are permanently tied to the slot and will be automatically applied to any tank placed in it. Earn crew improvement points from battles and upgrade the crew skills in the slots up to level 100 so that all your vehicles (even those obtained in the future) permanently receive maximum parameters.
We apologize for any inconvenience caused. We are working on fixing the bugs and are also monitoring vehicle performance in battles to adjust their placement within the research tech trees.
