New feature: Reports

This is a long-awaited feature to report unacceptable nicknames and non-sporting behavior.

Dear commanders! Due to numerous requests, we’ve added the ability to report players who violate rules of the game. At the moment, this function is in the testing stage and may be changed/improved.

The “Report” button is located in the player profile.

You can open another player’s profile from:

  • the list of players in battle;
  • post-combat statistics of players;
  • search for friends/companions;
  • any rating (tanks, ships, general).

How to send a report:

  • Click the “Report” button in the profile of the player you want to report.
  • Select the reason for the complaint:
    • Nickname – an offensive nickname;
    • Cheat – suspicion of using features not provided by the game;
    • Unsporting behavior – non-sporting behavior, harming teammates maliciously.
  • Write a short and clear comment on the report if necessary
  • Click the “Report” button to send your message.

The features and limits:

  • You can’t report your friends.
  • Report from battle:
    • no more than once every 30 minutes from one player against another player;
    • multiple players can report one player;
    • available in the current or last completed battle.
  • Reports via search/ratings:
    • limited to a maximum of 5 different players within 12 hours;
    • repeated reports against the same player limited to once per 12 hours.
  • If there are any limits, the “Report” button will become inactive and a timer will appear on it.
  • The player complained about will not know about the report.
  • Reports are processed in the order they are received within working hours. Penalties are possible only in case of obvious confirmation of a violation.
  • Reports on an exiting or inactive player in battle will not be considered.
  • A response regarding the results of your report will not be provided.

Not all actions that seem unsportsmanlike, in fact are such. There may be unintended circumstances, accidentally activating the “Smoke” button, lag problems where a tank can wobble in place or “fly” across the sky. However, if different players systematically report such behavior from one player – the penalty will be applied.

Possible penalties:

  • forced nickname change;
  • entering the nickname or part of it into the filters in the game;
  • account block for a period beginning with 1 day.

We wish you success in battles and conscientious companions!

Do not give other players a reason to report you.
