Major technical update 1.15

Changes, improvements and corrections.

Tanks

  • Merkava Mk.2B and Magach 6M – limit on maximum number of smoke shells has been added.
  • XM803 – a bug where the commander's machine gun would not turn when the turret was turning has been fixed.

Ships

  • USS New Orleans – the list when maneuvering has been reduced. The minimum number of crew has been reduced by 17%, this will increase the survivability of the ship. A bug that caused auxiliary caliber guns to occasionally aim into the water has been fixed.
  • USS North Dakota – the list when maneuvering has been reduced. The minimum number of crew has been reduced by 10%, it will increase the survivability of the ship.
  • Scharnhorst – the reloading time of main caliber guns has been reduced from 10 to 9 seconds. The distribution of crew on the ship has been changed, it will increase its survivability of the ship. Torpedo reload time has been reduced from 19 to 15 seconds. The number of torpedoes in a salvo has been increased to 2. Total torpedo ammo has been increased to 12. A bug when torpedo launchers did not launch even if the button was available has been fixed.
  • Sovetskij Soyuz – a bug that could cause a ship to not take damage from missiles has been fixed.
  • Hamburg – the mass of explosive in the main caliber shell has been corrected, now the damage corresponds to the value in the ship's card. All main caliber turrets have been combined into one button. Auto-fire has been added to main caliber guns. The reloading time has been reduced to 1 sec (adjusted to the real speed of 60 rounds per minute).
  • ARA Type 42 – the crew distribution on the ship has been changed, this will increase the survivability of the ship.
  • The visual effect of the foam that remains behind the ship on the water surface when moving has been improved.

Aircraft

  • The display of suspended armament in the shortened and extended aircraft cards has been changed.
  • A bug where after losing all available aircraft, the camera would not switch to another player to monitor the battle has been fixed.
  • A bug where tapping the "Add to both wings" button for the A-1H "Special weapon" would free up the mirror slot has been fixed.

Locations

  • El Alamein:
    — the incorrect shadows on the rocks have been fixed;
    — the destruction parameters of objects like “wooden anti-tank barriers” have been changed.
    — the zone of possible shot-through has been fixed.
  • Abandoned factory:
    — the destructibility of some objects has been fixed;
    — the possibility to destroy transitions between buildings has been added;
    — the destruction parameters of objects like “conveyor” have been changed (they can be destroyed more easily).
  • Vietnam:
    — the destructible objects like “house” have been optimized;
    — the textures of palm trees have been fixed.

Separation of vehicle repair and crew replenishment

The vehicle repair and crew replenishment of ground vehicles are separated into 2 different buttons.

Now you can decide whether to repair vehicles, replenish crew or combine these actions.

The option to choose repair or replenish appears when you hold down the repair icon:

  • The crew replenishment requires a new consumable item – a Medical Kit.
  • You can use only one Medical Kit per revival – that means you can only replenish your crew 1 time per revival.
  • Crew replenishment lasts longer than repair. Previously, because of this, players who wanted to repair their vehicles and leave the danger zone as quickly as possible had to wait until the end of the crew autoreplenishment. Often their vehicles were destroyed during this time. Now, however, in case the number of crew members is enough to move, autoreplenishment will not delay you.
  • Autorepair, as before, is launched without spending repair kits when vehicles are critically damaged.
  • Autoreplenishment of the crew is launched if further operation of the vehicle is impossible due to insufficient crew size. The cost of crew replenishment depends on the selected vehicle. You can disable crew autoreplenishment in the Tank Settings menu.
  • Medical Kits have been added to stores, event rewards, tank campaign level up rewards, tank campaign sets and trophies.
  • Players have already received a stock of Medical Kits for all previously completed tank campaign levels.

Other

  • In the graphics settings of Android devices the option to limit FPS to 45 frames has been added.
  • In graphics settings the LQ TAA (Low Quality Temporal Anti-Aliasing) antialiasing has been added – this is a simplified version of TAA, optimized for performance at high graphics settings.
  • The ground has been optimized, the number of “blurred” squares has been reduced.
  • The “ghosting” effect in TAA anti-aliasing in ship battles has been fixed.
  • The sounds of burning of airplane wreckage have been reworked.
  • A bug in the description of the “Best Squad” match award has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the “Bomber Rescue” match award to not be given when rescuing an Allied strike aircraft acting as a bomber in the Airplane Campaign has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the camera to rotate slightly when switching tanks in a platoon has been fixed.
  • A bug that could cause firing on some ships to freeze when pressing the R1 hotkey on gamepads has been fixed.
  • A bug in the tank campaign that caused it to erroneously display that there is no vehicle to revive after leaving the second tank has been fixed.
