Major Technical Update 1.22

Changes, improvements and corrections.

Tanks

  • The reload speed of several tanks has been changed:
    • T-80B, T-64A (1971), T-64B – from 7.1 to 6 seconds;
    • T-80UM2, T-80U, T-80UK – from 6.5 to 6 seconds;
    • T-72A, T-72B (1989), T-90A, T-72AV Turms-T, T-72M2 Moderna, Bhishma TWMP, ZTZ96, ZTZ96A, MBT-2000, Al-Khalid-I, ZTZ99-III, 2S25, 2S25M – from 7.1 to 7.0 seconds;
    • T-54 (1947), T-54 (1949), T-54 (1951) – from 8.5 to 7.5 seconds (with the improved "Rate of Fire" skill).
  • M19, M42 – a bug that caused a knocked-out commander to remain in place in X-ray mode has been fixed. Now, another crew member takes the place.
  • Freccia:
    • A bug that caused a target destroyed by an ATGM to remain locked on until it disappeared has been fixed.
    • A tooltip for attempting to launch missiles without locking on to a target has been added: “You must lock on to a target to launch a missile.”
    • A bug that caused the ATGM lock-on square to shift significantly away from the target has been fixed.
    • A visual bug that caused all ATGMs to be displayed in X-ray mode in the ammunition loadout and launchers after spending all ATGMs has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the radar on SPAAs to not lock on to targets if the distance to the target exceeded 3 km has been fixed.
  • Pz.Bef.Wg.VI P, Bfw.Jagdpanther G1 – the display of the movement of the tracks has been fixed.

Sight auto-rotation

Starting today, a new feature is available in the game for turretless tanks and vehicles with limited horizontal aiming angles: automatic hull turning!

The feature is disabled by default and can be enabled in the “Settings → Controls → Tank” menu.

When enabled, your vehicle’s hull will smoothly turn to follow the crosshair, allowing you to aim and fire at the enemy faster and more accurately. Auto-turn only works when your vehicle is not moving.

Ships

  • HMS Type 23, HMS Type 12l, USS South Carolina – the names of the missile launchers in X-ray mode have been corrected.
  • HNLMS Tromp:
    • The minimum crew size has been reduced from 70 to 60.
    • The crew has been redistributed throughout the ship to increase its survivability.
    • The reload time for the RIM 7 and RIM 67 missile launchers has been reduced from 15 to 12 seconds.
  • JDS Asagiri:
    • The reload time for the Harpoon missile launchers has been reduced from 15 to 12 seconds.
    • A bug in the ship's card has been fixed; the correct maximum crew size is 220.
  • Izmail:
    • The minimum crew size has been increased from 280 to 290.
    • The main caliber reload time has been increased from 17.9 to 18.9 seconds.
    • The secondary caliber reload time has been increased from 4 to 5 seconds.
  • A bug that caused damaged parts of the ship to be displayed without damage and vice versa on the X-ray icon in ship combat has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused submarines to disappear from the mini-map when diving below the periscope has been fixed.
  • HMS M1, Z47 – a bug that prevented standard camouflages from being used on these ships has been fixed.

Aircraft

  • In the aircraft campaign, when using the “On Click” target selection mode, under certain conditions, the nearest aircraft could be captured instead of the target chosen by the player. We have added touch detection. Now, accidental targeting changes are only possible if there is a minimal camera shift and the system does not recognize it as an accidental touch.

Locations

  • The visibility of the coastline on the African Canyon aircraft map has been improved.
  • Flying trees on the Alaska map have been fixed.

UI/UX

  • The fonts used for in-battle text (including vehicle names, nicknames, and tooltips) are now clearer and more readable.

Other

  • The AI-controlled patrol boats and destroyers now have collision detection.
  • The sinking speed of AI-controlled destroyers in air battles has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused supersonic aircraft to not display the effect of reaching supersonic speeds in tank battles has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused teammates to disappear from the game for a short time after reconnecting has been fixed.
  • The cutscenes for personal offers in the aircraft campaign have been fixed, as the aircraft could fly through objects.
  • A bug that caused turrets from destroyed tanks, as well as knocked down trees and bushes, to jitter on the battlefield has been fixed.
  • An option to enable vibration on gamepads connected to the game device has been added.
  • A number of causes that led to the game crashing when attempting to log in have been fixed.
