WZ141-1 (Rank VI)

Historical Note

The Chinese prototype light tank destroyer WZ-141 was developed in the mid-1970s. It was designed by drawing on foreign concepts, notably the American M50 Ontos and the Japanese Type 60. Its primary armament consisted of two 105 mm recoilless rifles mounted on a lightly armored tracked chassis, offering high mobility and the potential for air deployment. The first prototype, designated WZ-141-1, was completed in 1977. Despite achieving satisfactory test results, the project was ultimately not adopted for service and never entered mass production.

SWOT Analysis

• Strengths: Compact size and high speed. Equipped with two recoilless rifles firing HEAT and HESH rounds.
• Weaknesses: Low survivability and a limited ammunition supply.
• Opportunities: A highly mobile light tank that can conceal itself behind low cover and deal significant damage to opponents at its rank.
• Threats: Armor offers protection only against small fragments and rifle-caliber fire.

In battle

The experimental Chinese light tank WZ141-1 combines exceptional mobility with formidable firepower. Built on a lightweight, fast tracked chassis, it can easily conceal itself behind even minimal cover. At the same time, a pair of powerful roof-mounted recoilless rifles can effectively engage both lightly armored vehicles and heavily armored opponents.

Tasks

You will have six Supply task tracks. Progress fills as you spend Silver Lions, Golden Eagles, and Platinum Wolves. Play normally, spend currency on what you need, and earn additional bonuses!

When the Lunar New Year event starts in just a few days, new ways to earn Lunar Bonds will be introduced, and the event store will open for purchases. You will be able to exchange your Bonds for unique vehicles and valuable resources at substantial discounts!

*The final tech tree interface and vehicle lineup may differ from those shown in Early Access. All Chinese vehicles that you have already researched, purchased, or obtained through trophies or other means will be transferred to the Chinese tree and remain usable even without the Early Access pack. However, progressing through and researching the new tree will only be possible if you have purchased the “Early Access” set.
