[Coming soon] BTR and "Jumbo" give fire!

Today we would like to tell you about the new USSR and USA premium platoons, in which every player can find the perfect vehicle for his fighting style!

Platoon BTR-80A (Rank VI)

The BTR-80A was created based on the living battle experience of the Soviet Union's Afghan campaign and became probably the most advanced mass-produced wheeled armored vehicle of this class in the world for more than a quarter of a century. Since its creation in the early 1980s, the BTR-80A has taken part in all armed conflicts in the former Soviet Union and beyond.

Mobile, fast and maneuverable armored personnel carrier supports the actions of paratroopers with the help of an effective 30-mm autocannon. It does not boast strong armor, and the size of the vehicle is quite large, but its high mobility and accurate penetrating automatic cannon make the BTR-80A dangerous even for the main battle tanks of the Western bloc.

Take out your old cassette player, enjoy the strong smell of diesel exhaust – and get into the battle! The premium BTR-80A is a special mood vehicle!

Here comes the support platoon of the legendary BTR! Experimental medium tank T-44-100 is a transitional link between the late military T-34-85 and new generation tanks T-54 and T-55. A versatile vehicle with decent armor and excellent gun!

Do you feel the anxiety? Then somewhere nearby in the shelter lurks the SU-122-54 – a tank fighter with a long-barreled cannon and cumulative non-rotating rounds.

Finally, the ZSU-57-2, a completely futuristic anti-aircraft gun with a pair of automatic 57-mm cannons, watches over the danger from the sky. Very often this machine is more useful against ground targets, pounding a dozen powerful shells into a group of enemy tanks in seconds - don't forget to take armor-piercing shells into battle!

Platoon M4A3E2 (76) W (Rank IV)

The heavy attack modifications of the M4A3 series Shermans were designed specifically for urban battles, including against the heaviest tanks and self-propelled vehicles of the Wehrmacht. The armor of such tanks, called "Jumbo" by the soldiers, could withstand the impact of most tank guns, but the firepower of the 75 mm cannon was not enough. So the M4A3E2 (76) W modification with 76-mm M1 gun appeared – these tanks could go out boldly against the formidable "Panthers".

The American M4A3E2 (76) W will give the commander an excellent balance of mobility, protection and firepower. The tank is capable of operating alongside a group of allied medium tanks, outclassing them in front hull and turret armor. Moreover, if you turn the hull of the tank to the left or right edge of the upper armor plate, the hull becomes virtually invulnerable to enemy shots. Armor-piercing shells of the stabilized 76mm cannon can easily handle most medium tanks, and for the toughest opponents, the Jumbo has sub-caliber armor-piercing shells in its arsenal.

Premium M4A3E2 (76) W is the tank of the second line of attack and the main support for lighter allies – do this important job well and the reward will surprise you!

The heavy M4A3E2 (76) W will be accompanied by its combat mates. First, the M4A2 (76) W is a diesel Sherman with the same excellent M1 cannon. It's a versatile tank best suited for active tactics and point capturing.

The M36 GMC isn't overly nimble and is very vulnerable to the enemy, but it has a rotating turret and a great 90mm cannon that will punch through any enemy at its rank.

Finally, the M42 Duster self-propelled anti-aircraft gun can easily be used as a light tank – good mobility and a pair of 40mm auto-cannons are quite capable of supporting allies against both aircraft and armored targets.

The M4A3E2 (76) W Platoon will be available from the Medium Trophy of the Tank Campaign with the start of the new Season, while the BTR-80A will be available from the Big Trophy exactly one week after the start of the Season.
