"Additional Armor" Modification
A new modification – "Add-on Armor" – has been added to the "Arsenal" menu in the Tank Campaign.
Add-on armor modules can be installed or removed on the following vehicles:
- T-34 (1941), T-34 (1942), T-34-85, IS-2 (1944), M4A1 (76) W, M4A2, M4A3E8 (76) W, M10 GMC, Pz.IV F2, Pz.IV G, Pz.IV H, StuG III G, Panzer IV/70(V), Pz.IV J, Panther G, Churchill VII, Panzer IV/70(A), Panther A, Achilles, Sherman IC Firefly, T-34 (1943), T-34-85 (S-53).

Add-on armor enhances the vehicle’s protection and consists of two types:
- Add-on track links – add 20 mm of armor.
- Protective screens and anti-shaped-charge nets – cause shaped-charge (HEAT) shells to detonate prematurely.
Changes to Repair Mechanics
Update 1.27 changes the repair mechanic in the Tank Campaign. A detailed overview is available in the announcement. The key points are summarized below.
Repair is now free for all players. Repair kits are no longer required – they only accelerate repairs. Your existing stock of repair kits remains useful: with them, repair speed increases by 65%.
Auto-repair has been removed. Manual repair now fixes all damaged modules simultaneously. Previously, auto-repair of the engine and tracks would begin automatically when damage was significant and the tank was stationary. Now, pressing the Repair button is required – but it repairs all modules with any degree of damage, not just the engine and tracks. Repair is free unless you selected the “Use repair kits to speed up repair by 65%” option before battle, in which case repair kits will be deducted. Repair can be initiated at any time.
Repairs can be cancelled, and the number of repairs per battle is unlimited. Once repair begins, all damaged modules repair simultaneously, though speed may vary between modules. If you need to move to cover or fire urgently, repair can be cancelled at any time. Any modules already repaired at the moment of cancellation remain intact.
Damage color indication in X-ray has been improved, hit camera icons have been updated, and penalty descriptions have been added. Color coding is as follows: no tint indicates an intact module (100% integrity); yellow indicates light damage (99–70%); orange indicates significant damage (70–30%); red indicates critical damage (30–0%); and black indicates a destroyed module. Tapping a damage icon displays the list of penalties affecting the tank as a result of that module’s damage.

The base number of fire extinguishers has been changed to two. A higher number would effectively grant heavy tanks additional lives – tanks that are already difficult to burn out could extinguish fires repeatedly and become nearly unkillable. Two is the threshold before a tank can burn out. The Repair Speed skill upgrade now increases extinguishing speed rather than adding to the stock.
The "Spare Parts" crew skill has been replaced with "Firefighting". Skill points previously invested in Spare Parts have been refunded for free redistribution. They can be spent on Firefighting speed or any other crew skill.
