[Coming Soon] Missile destroyer Takatsuki: Samurai Shooter

See those flaming arrows over the ocean? It’s a Takatsuki destroyer armed with guided anti-ship missiles!

JDS Takatsuki (Rank V)

The Takatsuki class destroyers were designed to fulfill classic tasks of such ships in modern warfare: escorting convoys, fighting enemy submarines, destroying enemy ships with anti-ship missiles, and supporting landing forces. The lead ship of the series received numerous and diverse armament, including powerful Harpoon anti-ship missiles and Sea Sparrow guided missiles.

At the time of its appearance in the game, the IJN Takatsuki will be one of the most dangerous and technologically advanced ships available in War Thunder Mobile. By the way, JDS Takatsuki joined the Japanese Navy on March 15, 1967 – exactly 57 years ago.

The main weaponry of this small and fast ship is the formidable 340 mm Harpoon missiles, which are still considered to be the world's most successful model of such weapons. Harpoon missiles make a "slide" maneuver before hitting the ship and attack the enemy from above, hitting the most unprotected parts of the ship and causing enormous damage.

In addition to the already familiar Harpoons, the technologically advanced Takatsuki is armed with 200 mm Sea Sparrow guided missiles. Four "sparrows" fly out one after another every 0.24 seconds, followed by a quick reload and the "birds" are ready to hit any target again. Currently, these missiles can only be used against ships.

Moreover, the ship is also equipped with a 127 mm cannon for destroying small ships and 324 mm torpedoes for bigger opponents!

Important

The JDS Takatsuki (Rank V) is available after you reach level 26** of the ship campaign. You can upgrade the campaign level for Golden Eagles instantly to gain access to this ship faster than other players, or you can level up in battles.

Please remember that as soon as Campaign Level 27 becomes available, Level 26, 26* and 26** platoons will merge into a single Level 26. Vehicles purchased for Golden Eagles will remain as a premium even after the levels are merged. The final coefficients on the three vehicles will be the same as the level 26 vehicles.
