Major Technical Update 1.10

Improvements, fixes, and balance changes.

Tank changes

  • A bug with understated armor penetration display in shell cards for medium and large caliber HE shells has been fixed.
  • For small caliber high-explosive shells, the cards incorrectly show an understated armor penetration – this is purely a visual bug. The problem is known and will be fixed in one of the next updates.

Fleet changes

  • Display of ineffective hits (ricochets and non-penetrations) for artillery shells has been added.
  • Bremen – the reloading time of RIM 7P 200mm missile launchers has been reduced: 20 => 15 seconds. The targeting time of missiles on an enemy ship is reduced by 1 second.
  • Novorossiysk – an error in the armor calculations of the ship has been fixed, this will reduce its survivability.
  • USS Arkansas – the reloading time of main caliber guns has been increased: 7.9 => 11.3 seconds. The reload time of auxiliary caliber guns has been reduced: 4.8 => 2.6 seconds.
  • USS Wyoming – the crew has been redistributed around the ship, this will slightly increase its survivability.
  • IJN Mutsu – the reload time of main caliber guns has been increased: 14.8 => 16.4 seconds.
  • USS Truxtun – the crew is redistributed around the ship, this will slightly reduce its survivability. The ship card now shows the correct value of the 90° turn – 29 seconds.
  • IJN Mogami – the crew minimum has been increased by 10%, this will decrease its survivability.
  • Bug fixes with depth control scale have been fixed: fractional values have been removed, a bug that caused the maximum depth on the scale to be greater than the actual depth to which the submarine could dive has been fixed.

Vehicle Optimization

The WTM team regularly optimizes vehicle models and fixes bugs in them. The following vehicle models have been optimized:

  • AMX-13
  • AMX-13 DCA 40
  • T20
  • M18 “Black Cat”

The following bugs in vehicle models have been fixed:

  • Type 87 – low poly road wheels were displayed at low graphics settings.
  • Ostwind II – commander's bag was sticking out of the lower part of the turret.
  • IS-1 and IS-2 – mech driver's triplexes rotated with turret in X-ray mode.

UI/UX improvements

  • A bug that caused the text in the window for getting new vehicles to be cut off in several languages has been fixed.
  • A bug that caused the player's name on an allied submarine to display in red as an enemy unit when diving has been fixed.
  • The key and bond purchase window now displays the number of player's Platinum Wolves.
  • A bug that could cause an empty vehicle selection window to be displayed when leveling up a campaign (if the player already had a level vehicle purchased) has been fixed.
  • A second firing button in aircrafts has been added.
  • The names of unique vehicles are now purple in the battle statistics window.

Other

  • A free gift has been added in the new Personal Offer view window.
  • Some reasons for incorrect distribution of naval battle participants by teams, which could cause 6x4 battles to be formed, has been fixed.
  • Some bugs causing the disappearance of temple foundations on the "Japan" map have been fixed.
  • As a part of the preparation for the launch of the airplane campaign, level 3 is no longer required to unlock trophies. Please note that the change has not affectedt the conditions for receiving 300 gift bonds. They are given to players with level 3 of the tank or ship campaign.
  • A bug causing vehicles to flicker in the hangar when ray tracing is enabled has been fixed.
  • A setting to show taps on the screen has been added.
  • A gamepad button that opens stats has been fixed. Previously the Touchscreen icon was displayed, but now the Share icon is displayed.
