Major Technical Update 1.17

Changes, improvements and corrections.

Tanks

  • Now, in multi-barrel tanks with a single gun caliber (M50, Type 60 SPRG (C)), a separate sight is displayed for each barrel.
  • ZTZ88A – the SAPCBC BTM1 and HE-VT DTB-1 have been added to the list of shells.
  • ZTZ59D1 – the HE-VT DTB-1 has been added to the list of shells.
  • AMX-50 Foch – the 15 mm MG 151 in the close defense turret has been replaced with a 20 mm MG 151.
  • IFV-1 – the TNT equivalent for the PG-9 ammunition has been corrected (reduced by ~500 grams).
  • T-54 (1949) and T-55A – the armor penetration of the ZBM-8 shell has been corrected (increased by ~30 mm).
  • Object 140 – for the D-54 APDS shell, armor penetration has been corrected (increased by ~75 mm).
  • ZSU-23-4 – names of all vehicles has been changed to the correct version – ZSU-23-4V.
  • AMX-30 DCA – name has been changed to the correct version – AMX-30 S DCA.
  • STB-1 – name has been changed to correct version – STB-2.
  • Begleitpanzer 57 – characteristics of the 57x438 SAP-T shell's have been corrected and type has been changed to SAPHEI.
  • T54E1 and T54E2 – armor penetration has been corrected for the T279 shell (increased by ~100 mm).
  • M60A2, M551 – TNT equivalent has been corrected for the MGM-51B ATGM (increased by ~1 kg).
  • XM803, MBT-70, KPz-70 – TNT equivalent has been corrected for the MGM-51C ATGM (increased by ~1 kg).
  • XM803, MBT-70, KPz-70 – armor penetration has been adjusted for APFSDS XM578E1 (reduced by ~60 mm).
  • XM1 (Chrysler), XM1 (GM), M60A1 RISE, M60A3 TTS, XM8, M1 Abrams, CM11, Type 16 (FPS), Type 74 (G), Type 74 (F), Centauro I 105 R – armor penetration has been adjusted for APFSDS M735 (reduced by ~60 mm).
  • Conway and Conqueror – initial velocity has been adjusted for Shot L1G shells (armor penetration increased by ~20 mm).
  • Chieftain Mk. 3 and Chieftain Mk. 10 – armor penetration has been adjusted for Shot L15A3 shells (reduced by ~20 mm).
  • Charioteer Mk. VII, FV4202, Centurion Action X, Centurion Mk. 5/1, Caernarvon – armor penetration has been adjusted for Shot Mk.1 and Shot Mk.3 shells (increased by ~10 mm and ~100 mm, respectively).
  • Strv 81 (RB 52) – armor penetration has been adjusted for slpprj and pvlng m/54 shells (increased by ~10 mm and ~100 mm, respectively).
  • Comet I, Challenger, Black Prince, Centurion Mk.1 – armor penetration has been adjusted for Shot SV Mk.1 shells.
  • Comet I – initial velocity has been adjusted for Shot SV Mk.1 and Shell Mk.1 shells.
  • Concept 3 – initial velocity has been adjusted for Shot Mk.4, Shot Mk.6, Shot Mk.8, and Shell Mk.1 shells.
  • Extra shells have been removed from the Dicker Max model (there are now fewer in the X-ray view). Their number has been reduced in the shell selection.
  • The logic for firing smoke grenades in pairs has been adjusted. Previously, bugs could occur in some cases, such as: firing in the wrong direction, firing effects in the wrong place, incorrect visualization of firing.
  • Pz.Kpfw. III – the control in “stick” mode has been corrected, the tanks are now more responsive to controls.
  • A bug causing the external fuel tank on the 2C38 tank to kill the crew when it exploded has been fixed.
  • The tank's direction indicator has been improved – the arrow now displays the actual trajectory based on how the vehicle is turning.
  • A bug causing the tank's sight to rise when smoke was launched in front of a nearby enemy if it was aimed at the enemy before launch has been fixed.
  • Type 60 ATM – a number of bugs with ATGM reloading has been fixed.

Ships

  • Pr. 885 – torpedo reload time has been increased from 25 seconds to 30 seconds.
  • A bug causing secondary gun shells to fly past the target has been fixed.
  • A bug causing anti-aircraft guns on ships to fire beyond the maximum range at the highest vehicle upgrade level has been fixed.
  • RN Francesco Caracciolo – the protection of ammunition magazines has been increased.
  • Bremen – geometry for the interior of the captain's bridge has been added.

Aircraft

  • Now, in air battles, pilots and gunners leave downed aircraft using parachutes. Parachutists can't be shot down.
  • An overheating indicator for aircraft-mounted cannons has been added.
  • A bug causing wrecked destroyers to sink very slowly after being destroyed in air battles on maps with surface targets has been fixed.
  • A bug causing the aircraft's position to change when opening in-game windows while using the stick in the Aviation Campaign has been fixed.

Location

  • The excessive water turbulence on the Poland and Normandy maps has been fixed.
  • The incorrect spawn point protection zones in the Battle mission on the Vietnam map have been fixed.
  • Fixed bushes that could roll across the ground in the “Sea Terminal” location.
  • A bug caused the tank camera to get stuck on lampposts in the “Rheinland” location and jerk around has been fixed.

Vehicle Optimization

The WTM team regularly optimizes vehicle models and fixes bugs in them.

The following vehicle models have been optimized:

  • M10, M16 MGMC, Pz.IV F2, Pz.IV F1, Pz.III L, T-34 (1940), T-34 (1941), PT-76, T-28E, ZIS-12 (94-KM), M4 – the appearance of these vehicle models on low graphics settings has been improved.

The following bugs in ground vehicle models have been fixed:

  • 2С25М – mechanization for overcoming water obstacles didn't work.
  • PT-76 – in float mode, water was visible through the grille.
  • M4A3 (76) W, ST-A1, Tiger II (H)Sla.16, PGZ09 – parts of modules were missing in the X-ray or consisted of a rectangle only.
  • OF-40 Mk.2A – when damage was inflicted on the turret and the rangefinder was destroyed, the mirror remained in the air.
  • FV4030/3 – at low graphics settings, a detail was missing on the gun breech.
  • ZSU 57-2 – when the turret was turning, its elements remained in a static position.

UI/UX

  • The option to locate vehicles in slots by drag-and-drop from branches or other slots and remove them has been added.
  • Now, if there are less than 10 attempts left before a guaranteed reward, the “x10” button is temporarily disabled so that the player doesn't accidentally spend more currency than planned.
  • A hint button has been added to the personal offers window with increasing discounts, which leads to tasks to increase the discount amount.
  • A bug causing the first click to close the reward window after purchasing an offer might not work has been fixed.
  • The font in the Pr. 956 ship card has been corrected.
  • The hint text about leaving a vehicle with critical damage early in an air battle has been fixed.
  • A bug that prevented the Battle Pass tab from opening when scrolling the event bar in another tab has been fixed.
