[Event] Operation Overlord

An exciting event with interesting tasks in War Thunder Mobile!

Commanders! We invite you to take part in a special event dedicated to a turning point in the history of the World War II – the start of Operation Overlord.

Event dates: 🚩 June 6th – June 13th (ends at 10:00 GMT).

Join the themed event and receive 156,000 Silver Lions in total, a supply of boosters and Back-Ups, as well as unique titles and a nick frame!

Tasks

The event will last for 7 days. Five tasks will be available from the start of the event. New tasks will be unlocked during the first three days of the event.

The tasks can be completed for Golden Eagles.

Please note that after the end of the event, it will not be possible to obtain themed titles and a nick frame this year.

Historical Note

On June 6, 1944, under heavy fire from German fortified positions, more than 150,000 Allied soldiers landed on the beaches of France, marking the beginning of Operation Overlord, also known as the Normandy Landings.

In total, more than 2 million soldiers and a huge number of sea, air, and land vehicles took part in this large-scale operation. As part of it, the Western Front was opened and Paris was liberated, which significantly strengthened the position of the anti-Hitler coalition in the final stage of the war.
