The "Rising Threat" seasonal update brings War Thunder Mobile not only the top-tier Rank XIV ground vehicles but also a new tank map that will transport you to a vibrant mid-20th century metropolis. Welcome to "Silver District" – a place where the aesthetic of 1950s–60s Tokyo comes to life in every detail, setting the stage for intense urban combat.

The map features a sprawling city nestled between the majestic Mount Fuji and a picturesque bay. Above the skyline rises the red spire of the TV Tower – an unmistakable landmark for traveler and platoon commander alike.

When creating "Silver District", our location artists drew inspiration from the rapidly changing Japan of the post-war era – a time when traditional architecture stood alongside the first concrete high-rises, and streets hummed with yellow trams and colorful cars. Every detail of the map is designed to capture the spirit of that era, from the futuristic TV Tower to the winding dry canals, each element contributing to the distinctive character of this location.

Style, Ambiance, Setting

The district's architecture impresses with its diversity: utilitarian concrete blocks stand alongside houses in an authentic national style. Multi-story skyscrapers with hundreds of stairs and walkways overlook low-rise industrial complexes adorned with countless shop and workshop signs.

A particular atmosphere is created by the sense of life suddenly interrupted. Everyday objects are scattered throughout: a bicycle leaning against a pole, a vending machine stocked with soda, a construction crane frozen mid-lift with its load still suspended, piles of building blocks and pipes. In some buildings, renovations appear to have been in full swing – they remain draped in nets, while half-unloaded trucks stand idle in the courtyards and excavators sit frozen on their way to the site.

Quiet parks with familiar green trees or striking red ones and dozens of benches lend the map a unique and memorable charm.

Tactics

"Silver District" offers a wide range of tactical possibilities. Straight streets and numerous intersections create conditions for long-range firefights, yet cover is never hard to find. The heavy canal embankments not only reflect the aesthetics of the era but also serve as reliable shelter for your vehicles.

To achieve victory, we recommend adopting one of the following tactics or combining them.

• Control of central streets: capture and hold key intersections, using them to monitor enemy movements.
• Using cover: take up position behind large indestructible objects: building blocks, excavators, niches, and building corners to weather bombardment or set up an ambush.
• Blending with the surroundings: the abundance of environmental detail gives you the opportunity to merge with the landscape, hoping that an enemy distracted by the colorful cityscape will overlook your position.
