Vehicle Optimization
The WTM team regularly optimizes vehicle models and corrects errors.

- T58 – a bug that allowed the tank to be penetrated beneath the turret by 40 mm shells, such as those of the M247, has been fixed.
Ground Vehicle Mechanics Improvements
- Hull auto-turning mechanics have been improved for vehicles with limited horizontal guidance angles: turning now begins before the vehicle comes to a complete stop – at the moment the control stick is released or the Stop button is pressed.
- The mechanics of the Strv 103C, Strv 103A, and VT1-2 have been adjusted so they now behave consistently with other turretless tanks. For this change to take effect, the Hull Auto-Turning setting must be enabled.
- The gear shift zone for wheeled vehicles has been increased.
Ships
- A number of changes have been made as part of the fire control system rework:
- Shells now land in the area of the aiming point, accounting for distance and sea state.
- The distance to the aiming point is now displayed and can be disabled in the settings menu.
- Pr. 903 Lun-class – moved to Rank VII.
- A bug that allowed submarines to launch torpedoes without reloading in the naval campaign has been fixed.
- Visual display of missiles in open-type launchers has been added.
- Rank VI–VII bots in naval battles can now use countermeasures.
- Pr. 1144 – animations for the missile silo doors opening when launching P-700 Granit anti-ship missiles and "Metel" anti-submarine missiles have been added.
- Grozny – animations for the missile silo doors opening when launching P-35 anti-ship missiles have been added.
- A bug that caused battlecruisers not to capture zones and lose their nameplate and ship class marker has been fixed.
- A bug that caused a non-penetration notification to appear when firing at a ship's hull has been fixed.
- A bug that caused a "Kinetic penetration" icon to appear when hit by any type of missile has been fixed.
- Tirpitz – a bug that prevented the reticle from being moved to target another battleship after firing at aircraft has been fixed.
- A bug that could cause the CIWS system to stop reloading on all ships equipped with it has been fixed.
Aircraft
- New aircraft have been added to ground battles:
- Alpha Jet A (Germany)
- T-2 (Japan)
- F-5C (USA)
- The spawn point for top-tier interceptors has been adjusted, making it somewhat easier for them to catch up to their targets.
- Me 262 A-1a/Jabo – an error in the stat card has been fixed; burst mass is now displayed correctly.
- A bug that caused a fuel leak message and remaining fuel timer to appear on aircraft without rocket engines has been fixed.

- The display of metallic materials on certain objects across locations has been fixed. This change is most noticeable on the reflective hubcaps of car wheels.
- Underwater world performance on low graphics settings has been improved.
- A bug causing incorrect wave display on the "Poland" map has been fixed.
Sound
- Aviation battles and the hangar have received their own unique musical score – 10 new tracks replacing the previously borrowed music from War Thunder.
A new official album featuring the War Thunder Mobile aviation campaign soundtrack will soon be available on major music platforms.
Interface Redesign
We are continuing the global interface redesign announced last year. The latest changes are aimed at visually streamlining the main menu and the in-game HUD.
- The main menu design has been reworked:
- Tasks, the Battle Pass, Season Trophies, and the Active Season Pass (with legacy vehicles) are now grouped in a single block, accessible by tapping the season banner on the main screen.
- Tasks, BP, and event rewards and Trophies can be opened by tapping the icon of any active event.
- Event tasks for obtaining a discount on seasonal vehicles are no longer on the main screen – they are now located in the list of active season events, with a convenient shortcut available via the discount increase icon in the Personal Offer window.
- The Store button has been moved from the top-right corner to beneath the updated season banner.
- The icon for each new unique event is added to the right of the previous one.
- The Subscription Gold button is now displayed in the upper section and only appears when a Subscription is active and the daily Golden Eagles have not yet been claimed.
- The size and position of the "Vehicles" button for accessing the research tree have been updated.
- The vehicle change button in the slot has been removed, as it duplicated the research tree button. It has been replaced by the vehicle info button, previously located above the "To Battle!" button.
- The vehicle preset button has been updated and repositioned to the right of the slots.
- The campaign selection window design has been reworked.
- Sector buttons for ATGM selection have been added to the ground battle window. Their display can be customized in the HUD editor.
Vehicle Level Changes and New Meta-Mechanic
Vehicle levels in the ground and aviation campaigns have been reduced. Each new level now unlocks an upgrade – access to new ammunition, belts, suspensions, and more. Levels without rewards have been removed, and vehicle level progression has been accelerated.
As a result of this change, rewards will no longer be issued for leveling up vehicles. Any unclaimed rewards for previously reached vehicle levels have already been credited to your accounts.
Once a vehicle reaches its maximum level, commanders unlock a new meta-mechanic: "Mastery". By completing special trials, you will earn distinctive marks on vehicle icons – symbols of your expertise with each specific vehicle, a point of pride, and a mark of recognition in the battle participant list.
- The button to access the trials is located in the vehicle menu and is labeled "Mastery".
- The trials consist of three sequentially unlocking tasks. Completing them changes the appearance of the distinctive mark on the vehicle icon.
- Tasks are the same for all vehicles within each group:
- SPAA
- Tanks and SPGs
- Bombers
- Attack aircraft
- Fighters
- Ships and submarines.
- Each vehicle displays its individual Mastery progress – visible in the hit and destruction windows, the battle results table, and on the vehicle icon in slots and in the research tree.
- In the battle results window, on the tasks tab, trial progress is displayed separately for each eligible vehicle.
UI/UX
- A number of issues that caused both squad members to be displayed as leaders after briefly minimizing the game have been fixed.
- The Armor Protection Analysis display has been improved – when changing the shell type, distance to the vehicle, impact angle, or other significant parameters, press the "Armor Protection Map" button again to refresh the results.
- The ground tech tree layout has been adjusted: vehicle icons are now more compact both vertically and horizontally, and the branch connecting lines are neater and cleaner.
- Gold vehicle icons in the upper section of the research tree window are now positioned closer to the tech tree vehicles.
- CV90120-T – the machine gun name has been fixed.
- A "Show Level" button has been added to the tech tree window, displaying the vehicle and mastery level on each vehicle icon.
- In line with the naval and aviation campaigns, all new ammunition, belts, and systems unlocked with each vehicle level increase must now be purchased once for Silver Lions.
- The search field is now cleared automatically when closing the contacts window.
Replays
- A bug that caused the camera to move spontaneously in replays on Android devices has been fixed.
- A bug that caused the tap area for replay timestamps to be too small has been fixed.
Gamepad
- A bug that caused scrolling through the decal block with the right joystick in the customization window to simultaneously move the camera has been fixed.
- Tooltips for key combinations have been added to the control layout settings window.
- A key combination for activating CIWS has been added.
Other
- A bug that caused decals on vehicles to stop displaying or display incorrectly when switching anti-aliasing to MSAA on devices with Mali G925 Immortalis MC12 GPUs has been fixed. Note: the mirror reflection option is unaffected.
Known issues
- M1A2 SEP – the M829A3 shell will be added in one of the upcoming seasonal updates.
- On certain vehicles (e.g., T-80UK, ZTZ96, MBT-2000), the fire button could become inactive due to an inability to repair the autoloader. Auto-repair now begins automatically when the autoloader is damaged, without requiring repair kits. In the current version, autoloader damage is not shown in X-ray mode and manual module repair remains unavailable. These issues will be addressed in upcoming updates.
- Grass display on certain Android devices has been temporarily disabled for technical reasons.
We wish you victory and a great experience playing War Thunder Mobile (WTM)!
