Celebrations in honor of the Second Anniversary of the game!

Commanders! Two years ago – on August 15th, 2023 – the official worldwide release of War Thunder Mobile on Android and iOS platforms took place!

From August 14th to August 21st, 09:00 (GMT), take part in the themed event and get fantastic holiday vehicles, lots of gifts, and a unique gaming experience!.

During the event, be prepared to:

Fight in special vehicles on themed maps such as “Cargo Port,” “El Alamein,” and “Abandoned Factory” in the new “Battle Royale” mode.
Receive daily gifts for login.
Fill the “endless” celebration Battle Pass progress bar.
Complete exciting celebration tasks.
Give and receive celebration gifts with vehicles and valuable rewards.
Fire off colorful fireworks.
Exchange Anniversary Bonds for new vehicles in festive camouflage, decorations, and other valuable rewards from the new and previous seasons.
Enjoy a new gaming experience, victories, and celebrate the birthday of your favorite game together!

New mode

Welcome to the new celebration mode – “Battle Royal”. The main rule of the mode is simple: only one will survive and win! Destroy your opponents' tanks, collect upgrades on the maps, avoid the closing boundaries of the zone, and become the sole survivor!

Important features of the celebration mode:

You can join the battle by pressing the “To battle!” button, which is located in the lower right corner in the event window;
you can use only special vehicles for battle, you can choose from the list after joining the game session: Type 62, Panther G, ZSU-57-2.
You'll get a wider selection of tanks by completing tasks and filling up the event progress bar: M56, Tiger II (P), T26E5.
In “Battle Royale” mode, the game takes place on a single tank, with no respawns.
The mini-map indicates the spawn points for items — collect them by driving your tank over them. The Training Materials (marked with blue smoke) improve the crew's skills by 50%. Repair Resources (marked with green smoke) repair your tank, heal your crew, and give you 1 artillery call.
Keep an eye on the safe zone boundaries. Orange boundaries indicate that the safe zone will soon become smaller. Red boundaries indicate the danger zone, beyond which there are no survivors. If you don't leave danger zone before the timer runs out, your tank will be destroyed
When the safe zone shrinks to a single square, you won't be able to use artillery fire.
The results of event battles are not counted towards seasonal tasks, leaderboards, or player statistics.
Battle points are earned for both destroyed enemies and the number of zones you safely survive. The winner receives the maximum number of points.
All points earned in battle go towards filling the festive Battle Pass progress bar.

Tasks and Battle Pass

Tasks are available from the first day of the event. By completing a task with a low difficulty level, you will receive the next task with a higher difficulty level.

In total, during the event, you can get:

5,000 pcs – for 1-15 steps of the Battle Pass;
50 pcs – for each subsequent step of the Battle Pass.

All points earned in Battle Royale will go toward filling the festive Battle Pass progress bar. You can collect enough bonds to purchase all the anniversary rewards you want, even if you don't win a single match or complete all the event tasks.

Get event bonds by completing Battle Pass steps! Purchasing the Event Pass will allow you to collect more bonds and receive additional rewards: a themed avatar and a decorator.

You can purchase missing bonds with Platinum Wolves by clicking on the “plus” sign next to the event currency icon in the store.

Fireworks

You can shoot off fireworks in tank and ship modes. After using fireworks, one random player in the battle will receive a “WTM Happy Birthday!” match award and a bonus of 10,000 Silver Lions after the battle no matter the result of the battle.

Event Rewards

Exchange event bonds for vehicles, cosmetic items, valuable items, and consumables in the festive store!

The store will close on August 21 at 10:00 (GMT), one hour after the event ends.

Anniversary gifts!

Log in to the game between August 14 and 09:00 (GMT) on August 21, 2025, and receive a special avatar, unique title, silver, and festive fireworks.

Daily Gifts

Log in to the game every day and receive a gift in the Tasks – Events section: Golden Eagles, Silver Lions, and boosters await you until the end of the event.

Hangars and music

The Hangars have been updated and decorated for the celebrations, and they're ready for commanders! The new themed music will raise the spirits and keep the battle cry of future Battle Royale champions alive.
