Commanders, the celebration continues! In honor of War Thunder Mobile's third anniversary, the tank, ship, and aircraft hangars have been decorated for the occasion.
We congratulate everyone on this shared milestone and would like to inform you of the following changes to the themed event.
Locations
- El Alamein:
- Some spawn points in the city have been moved to more sheltered positions.
- Abandoned Factory:
- Upper spawn points visible from nearby spawn points have been moved to more sheltered positions.
- Additional cover has been added across the map.
- Several unreachable booster pick-up points have been fixed.
- The incorrect mini-map has been fixed.
Other
- A bug that caused new event camouflages not to appear in the hangar has been fixed.
- A bug that caused the artillery strike timer to be partially hidden behind the minimap on devices with a 16:9 aspect ratio has been fixed.
- The parachute ammunition drop effects have been improved.
- The description of the “Battle Royale” mode on the battle loading screen has been corrected.
- A bug that caused a text prompt to appear for a player when the artillery strike window was open and another player used artillery simultaneously has been fixed.
Important
- At the start of each “Battle Royale” match all participants begin with only HEAT/HEATFS shells in their ammunition loadout. Armor-piercing shells can be collected from the ammunition crate at your parachute landing point.
- Artillery strikes deal damage to all players within the strike zone, including the player who initiated the strike. Plan your strike location carefully and use cover to avoid self-inflicted damage. Note that artillery strikes cannot be used once the combat zone has shrunk to its minimum size toward the end of the battle.
- Event currency will not be converted into Golden Eagles automatically. Please spend all Anniversary Bonds on Trophies, and exchange any remaining Holiday Bonds for Golden Eagles, Silver Lions, or boosters in the Event Store before it closes.
- The AMX-30B2 (B) has been added to the Trophy pool to give players who do not yet own it a chance to obtain the tank and its new camouflage, as there are currently no other ways to acquire it. This is intended behavior, not a bug.
