Season Update 1.25.1: Thunder Blossom
The Major Content Update – Season 36 – for War Thunder Mobile is now in the game!
In this update, you can expect to see the following:
- A new Japanese research tech tree in the tank campaign.
- A new ship in the German research tech tree.
- New top-rank vehicles and their blueprints in seasonal Trophies.
- A new season of the long-term event with unique vehicles in the Trophies.
- A new season of the Battle Pass.

Tanks
- Ariete WAR MBT (Rank XIII) (standard and premium versions can be obtained from the trophies during the Thunder Blossom event)
- BM Oplot-T MBT (Rank XIV) (standard and premium versions can be obtained from the trophies during the Thunder Blossom event)

- La Fayette missile frigate (Rank VII) (standard or premium versions can be obtained from the trophies during the Thunder Blossom event)
- JDS Takanami missile destroyer (Rank VII) (standard or premium versions can be obtained from the trophies during the Thunder Blossom event)
- Niedersachsen missile frigate (Rank VII) (a new top-tier ship in the German research tech tree)

- Swift F.1 jet fighter (Rank IX) (standard and premium versions can be obtained from the trophies during the Thunder Blossom event)

New Japan Tank Branch
The early access phase for the Japanese tank research tree has ended, and the vehicles are now available for research by all players!
Research the long-awaited Japanese tanks and assemble your own effective platoon to dominate on the ground and climb the leaderboards!

Event Battle Pass of Japan
To celebrate release of the Japanese tank tree, we are launching a special event.
Complete tasks, finish Battle Pass levels, and earn gold coins and event bonds, which can be exchanged in the themed store for valuable premium vehicles, keys, seasonal bonds, and other rewards.
- When you purchase the Event Pass, you’ll receive a magnificent themed decal and access to all rewards in the pass lineup.
- When you purchase the VIP Pass, you’ll instantly complete 7 levels and receive a unique themed avatar.
- After reaching Pass Level 15, you will receive Event Bonds from the Endless Trophy for each subsequent step.
Please note that after the event ends, event currency will not be automatically converted into Golden Eagles or Silver Lions. You can purchase them yourself in the event store until August 18th (10:00 GMT).
Season “Thunder Blossom”
Complete the Thunder Blossom Season combat missions, earn War Bonds and Keys as rewards and unlock trophy containers with valuable prizes for them.
The “Thunder Blossom” season will last from August 11th to September 3rd, 2026.
Seasonal vehicles: Ariete WAR and BM Oplot-T.
Medium Trophy Jackpot: standard version of Ariete WAR or BM Oplot-T.
Big Trophy Jackpot: premium version of Ariete WAR or BM Oplot-T.
Guaranteed reward: 700 blueprints for one of the seasonal tanks for 50 attempts in the Medium Trophy or 14 attempts in the Big Trophy.
The jackpot can be won at any time, but only once per trophy. Once won, the guaranteed reward for this trophy will be disabled. It is possible to win the jackpot after reaching the guaranteed reward.
Once you have obtained all seasonal vehicles before reaching the jackpot or guaranteed reward, you will receive 1,750 Golden Eagles as your guaranteed reward, instead of the Jackpot, you will receive 2 Keys from the Medium Trophy and 1,750 Golden Eagles from the Large Trophy.
Seasonal vehicles: La Fayette and JDS Takanami.

Big Trophy Jackpot: premium version of La Fayette or JDS Takanami.

- 300 bonds are awarded as a gift with the start of the Season to players after at least 5 battles in any Campaign.
- Rewards for completing the tasks of the season of all three campaigns.
- Rewards in the overall progress bar of the season's tasks.
- Campaign ranking awards.
- Battle Pass rewards.
- With a chance – from the Infinite Trophy in the Battle Pass.
- Reward from Small or Medium Trophies (10 to 300 items).
- Season Offers and Store.
Ways to get keys for the Big Trophies:
Ways to get keys for the Big Trophies:
- As a reward in the Season Task progress bar;
- As a Battle Pass reward;
- For being in the top 1% and top 10% of the ship, tank or aircraft leaderboards of the Season;
- From Medium and Big Trophies (2 to 4 keys per successful opening);
- As items in special event’s store;
- Through Seasonal Offers and the Store.
Standard vehicles from the Medium Trophies are also available for purchase with Season Bonds in the in-game Store.
War Bonds and Keys cannot be used in the next season. After the end of the current season, War Bonds and Keys will be automatically used to open the relevant trophies in random campaigns. If you want to get rewards from a certain campaign, you have to use the War Bonds and Keys yourself before the end of the season, until 10:00 (GMT) on September 3rd 2026.
Leaderboards
To get into the campaign leaderboard, you need to fight at least 5 battles using vehicles from the relevant campaign (tank and ship take-offs don't count for access to the Aviation Campaign).
The rating season ends on August 27th, 2026 at 10:00 (GMT). Rewards will be distributed within a few days after the leaderboards are frozen. It’s important to note that rewards may be given out at different times for different leaderboards.
Battle Pass
Complete special tasks, level up your Battle Pass and receive rewards for your completed steps.
When you purchase the VIP pass, you instantly receive special camouflages for one vehicle from the trophies of each campaign, as well as automatically completing 10 steps from the Battle Pass lineup. If you have already purchased an upgraded BP, the cost of the VIP pass will be reduced.
The unique camouflages are given when you purchase a VIP pass no matter if you have a vehicle.
